Cross over our little bridge and your life will change. The quiet serenity, breath taking views and fun you have been waiting for in the mountains of Western North Carolina is here. Meet your hosts David, Joe, Kathleen, Steve, Don and Ron who will take you to your cabin to get comfortable and then show you around our grounds. Listen to the running stream, the rustle of the leaves and hear the many varieties of birds sing. You will quickly know this is where you will make memories that will last forever.
Visit our Deck on the Creek for relaxing or a friendly card game. The picnic area, Bar-B- Grill, fire pits and play areas are ready for your family fun or a romp with your dog. Or maybe the two of you want to spend some special time together cooking out on your porch while you enjoy cocktail hour and the view. It's all here for you at our beautiful retreat in the mountains.
We will give you some hints on the many great things to do while your here. If We can't find what you are looking for we can tell you where the local guides and mountain craftsmen can be reached. Hiking, fishing, white water rafting or tubing, the out doors are at your call. Don't forget to trust your luck at the gemstone and gold mines we are famous for. There are lovely caverns to explore, water falls and only a short trip to Grandfather Mountain. Or visit Asheville for shopping and stop at the beautiful Grove Park Inn.
We have the best of all seasons. Spring time with the colorful flowers popping up, cool nights for hiking and fly fishing at it best. Balmy summers when "the livin is easy" and the lake fishing is great. Beautiful fall where the leaves paint a picture we are known for through out the world, And Old Man winter with just enough chill to make it feel like Christmas every day. You can put on your coat and boots and head out to hunt or just hike the mountain and visit the many lakes. When you return you can build a fire in the fire pit and bring out the Hot Chocolate, Hot Toddy, Cider and S'mores.
